Artist's statement
Nottingham-born, I moved to America in 2005 where the opportunity arose to start painting again after many years. The critical acclaim of fellow artists and success in selling my paintings encouraged me to become a professional artist. A move back to the UK with my artist wife followed. The East Anglia coastline, a return to painting in oils, and artists such as Seago became the inspiration for my paintings. I now consider myself to be fulfilling my heart's desire, finding and painting the unusual, quirky and atmospheric East Anglian landscapes.
