    Karen Edward's Fabulous Colours

Karen Edward is a fulltime artist working from her studio in a wee fishing village. She works in traditional methods, first sketching, then painting in gouache, acrylic, watercolours and inks. She makes all her own papers for collage pieces and also works digitally on her computer, painting on a Wacom tablet.

    Introducing Marcella Cooper

    Introducing Marcella Cooper

Nestled deep in rural England, artist Marcella Cooper can usually be found in the side room of her thatched cottage, either painting or carving out a lino cut. Her favourite time is just before dusk, the moon highlighting the chase of the hares as the owl silently swoops. Then it is back to the warmth of the kitchen to settle down to listen to the radio.

    New artist - Amie Haslen

    New artist - Amie Haslen

Amie Haslen is a painter, printmaker and self-confessed neat freak. This can prove difficult at times, as she shares a studio with her talented but untidy dad (artist Andrew Haslen). Their garden studio overlooks a pond and the rolling valley beyond. She draws inspiration from this land, her garden, and the creatures that share their home - two handsome Bengal cats and three mad spaniels. More about Amie

    One Man and His Dog

    One Man and His Dog

Our new artist, Chris Williamson, works primarily in oil on panel, although he has been known to work on paper, walls, canvas and computer...even the backs of envelopes. Utilising photo and sketch references - on-site where possible - he has recently started using an iPad, which he says is very exciting - 'All those tools in one box!'  His early work was based on the hills and landscape surrounding his home.
However, he is also drawn to the sea and tries to visit the coast for a beer and inspiration when time and finance allows. As you can see, he quite like dogs.
