A sunny hand-painted face to brighten a window, doorknob or to slip in an envelope and send to a friend. These hand-painted joyful sun faces are decorated on both sides and strung with vibrant cotton in complimentary colours.
Each sun is laser cut from 3mm birch ply and then decorated in my studio, using bold inky brushstrokes and coloured pencils to add movement and character to the crisp cut shape. Suns are approximately 7cm in diameter. Each sun is hand decorated, so each is unique.
