I created this linocut print using the multi-block method, which involves carving each separate colour from a different lino block. The colour layers are then printed first, with the final black 'key block' laid over the top.
It was inspired by a trip to Westleton on the Suffolk coast to see the Silver-studded blue butterflies.
Printed on Somerset paper (300g)
The printed area is 20 x 30cm and the paper size is approximately 28 x 38cm
