I should have been born a few centuries ago as I’m always happy dwelling on how life and the world used to be. I’m in love with my rural hillside home and like to add a little intrigue, mystery and humour to my paintings. As I am now partially sighted, I can no longer just pick up a brush and paint. However, with the help of my wonderful x60 magnifier, a little resourcefulness, my memory and the natural world around me, I try to create scenes from my mind’s eye which I hope will be thought provoking and pleasurable for all.
