Spirit Guides is a 30x30x2 inches canvas print of an original painting by Gill Bustamante. It comes in a white wooden floater frame (frame with slight gap between the canvas and the frame so it appears to ‘float’). The dimensions with the frame are 31.5x31.5 inches. The depth of frame is 2 inches (stands out from the wall by 2 inches) and the width of frame is ½ an inch. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and free gifts from the artist. The canvas was printed with fade resistant ink and has a matte varnish for protection. It can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth if needed.
See video for an example of the frame (not the same print)
Spirit Guides is a predominantly white print of a painting of a group of deer in a winter forest. The deer are looking inquiringly at us - as deer do - and there is a suggestion of frosty branches and trees and snow. The style is a little art nouveau and slightly abstract and expressionist. The colours are pale with lots of white. The name refers to the fact that deer are often seen as being guides between this world and another. Living near the Ashdown forest as I do, I often see them and do find them beautiful and mysterious. I would be following them to other worlds if they would let me!
