I’ve been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Toronto, Canada, and since then I’ve journeyed around the world a few times gaining inspiration from my travels. After settling in Sydney, Australia, and being surrounded by beautifully-coloured feathers and birdsong, birds became a significant subject in my work. Road trips around Australia became a frequent activity and inspired my oil-painted landscapes. I work as a full-time artist in Newtown, Australia, and also create and exhibit work during artist residencies in Canada.
