Creating artwork is my passion. I aim to communicate the emotions I feel being out in the natural world, whether it’s the serenity of being under a magnificent sky, the awesomeness of being amongst a mountainous landscape, or the wondrous feeling wild swimming with an otter or a seal. My artworks are created by laying down the colour first, using pencils. Then the ink drawing goes on top, when I go over the linework several times. This is enjoyably meditative! It creates patterns and an image that is similar to that of a lino or wood cut.
