These bold striped mugs have been hand pinched from stoneware clay. They measure approximately 6.5cm high and 10cm wide, although each one is individually made by hand there are some slight variations in size. They are a pleasure to drink from and comfortable to hold, perfect for a morning tea or coffee! The reason that I enjoy making by hand is that each piece is unique. It retains marks and impressions made during construction, giving the owner a meaningful connection to the maker and the knowledge that the item they are using was happily made by another person.
