Bud vase - hand thrown and glazed ceramic.
After throwing and trimming my bud vases are fired before applying multiple layers of glazes. After a second firing to stoneware, the melting of the glazes creates a glossy surface. The turquoise and blues of this vase reminds me of tropical seas and the wonderful shallow coast around the Scillies.
