Such a distinctive pose these stunning birds make!

I made this print along with three other birds: lapwings, a bittern and an avocet, after a series of trips to the wonderful Minsmere RSPB nature reserve in the Suffolk coast.

This is a reduction linoprint: the edition number you are sent might vary from the photo. The dimensions of the print are 14cm x 14cm including the title and signature. The dimensions of the paper is 19cm x 19cm.

All of my prints are original linocuts and are handmade by me. Because they are handmade, prints inevitably have minuscule differences...part of the charm of being made by a person and not a machine!

I use Lawrence oil-based relief printing inks and Zerkall smooth white paper, 145gsm. I use a BlueBoy printing press. There is more information about my studio and other work on my website.

Prints will be sent to you unframed, protected with cellophane in a re-enforced envelope on a Special Delivery service with the Post Office.
