This handcrafted A5 watercolour sketchbook is bound in the Coptic stitch style and covered with a stunning green, magenta and gold hand marbled paper.
The sketchbook has 28 sides of 300gsm cold-pressed (NOT) watercolour paper, created from 7 folios each with 4 sides. The spine of each folio is wrapped with a narrow band of khadi paper.
Coptic Stitch is an ancient form of exposed spine binding. Beautiful and deceptively strong. The binding allows the book to lay flat when open, making it ideal for artists!
These sketchbooks are perfect for artists working from home, studio, or on the go.
The book is cut, folded, glued and stitched by me, entirely by hand.
