Charles Martin
I have lived on the coast for most of my life, with boat building as my day job. Now I’m retired I enjoy the freedom it gives me to experiment with my artwork. My inspiration comes from many sources, but colour vibrancy is always important. After art school I explored different art forms including glass painting, sign writing and lino printing; the latter is now my preferred technique. Family keeps me busy with five grandchildren and their pets, so I enjoy quality time in my studio with music playing and a glass of wine whilst working on my art.
