Beth Knight
Taking my dogs for a walk every day is an important part of my creative process, watching seasons change, observing wildlife and becoming familiar with the intimate landscape around me. Back in my home studio I start on an idea; using photos and sketches I work up a design to transfer to lino. All my lino cuts are based on real places, my favourite spots! Places that have shared their stories as I’ve watched them change through the seasons and over the years. These are special places that I want to treasure and capture in my art to share with others.
