There's almost nothing better than an afternoon of painting curly hair. I can get lost in the tendrils. It doesn't matter where in the world we live, or even if we've lived decades past, we all share many common stories and those are the ones I like to tell through paint. I live near a popular surf beach so that theme appears often, but I’m also drawn to recreating those quiet moments, like a woman reading an actual book, or a child blowing a dandelion and making a wish. Those are moments we can all relate to.
