Shimmer on the Rocks is a one-off tapestry weaving which came about from a collection of hand dyed wool, metallic fibres of soft silky blues mixed with a variety of sandy muted tones of frayed thick yarn.
With this palette on the work bench, it had to be a moody seascape.
This piece comes framed on a handmade loom which measures 30cm x 23cm. The weaving itself measures 23cm x 14cm. It can be hung from the attached string or this can be removed to display on a shelf or ledge.
It will be packaged in tissue paper in a postal box and UK Tracked Shipping is included.
