Zoe Elizabeth Norman is drawn to wild untamed places in the natural world. Sometimes her paintings are inhabited by native animals; other times by wistful, romantic characters from the pages of her favourite books. She loves the rich colours and expressive brush strokes she can achieve using oils, and paints in an impressionistic way, often starting with the bright pink background which contributes to her personal style.
