Hayley Noakes
As a collage artist surrounded by beautiful countryside, nature is my biggest inspiration. When out walking, I'm often drawn to small or hidden details such as the texture of feathers and leaves, or the colours of a pebble. The changing seasons - the stillness and structure of winter, crisp autumn leaves and the emergence of springtime - often find their way into my collages. When I paint my collage papers, I try to create different textures using pastels, pencils and ink to add further depth and movement. I love exploring the details, colours and patterns found in the natural world.
