Nicola Stockley
Working with paint is never too challenging when you live surrounded by the beauty of the countryside. I find endless inspiration in the patterns found in the natural world and am often busy foraging in woodlands or exploring the coastline looking for new ones. I try not to work too closely with photographs as I’m fascinated with creating detail of my own design. Colour is also very important to me and I love to experiment with interesting colour palettes in my home studio whilst under the strict supervision of my two cats.
