'The Long Walk' is a one off tapestry weaving hand woven on a loom using Frid Norwegian Spelsau Wool, natural sheep wool (clouds) and 100% cotton warp. I took my inspiration for this piece from the great post impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh incorporating his classic pigments of bright blues and yellows in the landscape.
Various weaving techniques have been used to give the great texture to the artwork.
The weaving has been sewn onto a linen mount and comes complete with the light wood frame which can either be hung or placed on a sideboard or shelf. The tapestry measures 21cm x 18cm and the frame itself measures 34cm x 26cm.
