Miniature ceramic dish with star design.
These miniature dishes are hand built from stoneware clay, and surface decorated with black underglaze and a blue celadon glossy glaze.
I have hand-cut paper stencils to create the motifs over the clay surface, adding sgraffito details by carving into the damp clay before it is fired.
