This adorable frog has been designed to be easy to knit and suitable for beginners. The pattern is easy to follow with plenty of pictures to help understand the shape of parts, and putting them together.
PLEASE NOTE. This is a knitting kit and not a finished toy. The kit contains everything needed to make your frog including lovely soft merino wool, a pair of 3.25 wooden knitting needles, a plastic sewing needle, natural wool stuffing and the full pattern.
After a new arrival in our wider family, I (Tim) was motivated to make a soft toy as a gift. I enjoyed it so much that I made a few more soft toy gifts. I enjoyed this so much that I started designing some myself. I wanted to create something that allowed a child to use their imagination and so I based the animals on a simple shape, and focused on the main characteristics of each animal, such as a frog's big eyes and long legs!
These animals make a wonderful gift for any newborn, child, loved one, friend or maybe just for yourself!
The finished size of The Frog is 17cm tall and there are three colours to choose from; yellow, green or red.
The techniques required to knit The Frog include knit and purl, casting on and off, simple increase and decrease, seaming and cable cast on. It is knitted flat.
