Ravenna Sunset is a one off tapestry weaving hand woven on a loom from Worsted spun wool and 100% cotton warp. The wool has been eased apart to give movement to the sea and the sky is lit up in vibrant reds, yellows and oranges which are also reflected across the water.
Ravenna may be more famous for its ancient Mosaics, but it also has stunning beaches to sit and watch the birds and the sun go down with an aperitivo.
The artwork has been sewn onto a linen mount and comes complete with the white frame which can be hung vertically or horizontally. The tapestry measures 21cm x 11cm and the frame itself measures 33cm x 20cm.
